Our Mad Hatter's Auction was a smashing success! Special thanks to Merie Beauchamp and Lara Perzoff for their vision and organization - and many, many hours of hard work! We also thank our staff, parents and students for their many contributions, in particular Karma Wolski and her outstanding decoration crew! We much also express our appreciation for all of our sponsors and donors! We couldn't do it without you.
We've been enjoying a variety of sports club so far this year. Students have taken part in Cross-Country running, basketball, hockey and badminton, with Ultimate added this year! We also have an Art Club up and running. Next term, student run clubs will be starting. Thanks to all the staff and parent volunteers for getting us 'up and running' with clubs this year.
We're back! The first full week of school is underway and the students are already settled in and working hard. September is always a busy month at Selkirk, with many activities and events ramping up for the term. Please check emails to keep up to date!
The Kindness Assembly with the Hummingbird Class and Leadership students has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th, 2019.
So exciting to come back after the break to find the new sound system in the gym! Many thanks to our Auction Committee 2018 and to the Selkirk Parent Group (SPG) for ensuring that the money was in place to make this happen. Can't wait for our next assembly!
