Given that we lost the first week of January to preparing for back to school on the 10th, we have postponed our annual Open House from January 20th to January 27th to ensure that staff have time to prepare the best experience for our current and prosepective families. We will start the Zoom presentation at 6:00 pm, so if you are interested in joining us, please email reception@selkirkmontessori.ca for the link.
We're already well into the X-country running season and our students have been competing at events around the city. Danielle (Sea Star) and Jacqueline (Otter) are the coaches.
Shannon (Cormorant) is coaching Ultimate Frisbee again this year! The team has also been competing with other schools in the city.
Brian is starting up badminton, soccer and basketball clubs starting the week of October 18th. All activities will take place in the gym before and after school.
We hope you are enjoying a smooth transition to the new academic year and come ready for all of the fun and excitement the school cycle brings. The Selkirk Parent Group (SPG) is definitely keen to get going, pandemic restrictions notwithstanding.
